Our Joint Managing Directors, David Steel and Tim Gleave, presented at the conference at Manchester’s Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.
To a room of over 80 talent acquisition, resourcing and HR delegates, David and Tim delivered their ‘Activity Without Insight’ quiz. Based around Thomas Carlyle’s famous quote, “there is nothing more terrible than activity without insight”, it highlighted the perils of making key business decisions based purely on zero intelligence.
Commenting on the day, David said, “We always enjoy attending The FIRM conferences and it’s an even bigger thrill when we get the chance to present. Everyone who got up on stage had something interesting to say, be they supplier-side or from the in-house community, so I hope that delegates enjoyed the day and gleaned some valuable insights.”
Tim added, “We were delighted to be a sponsor of this event in the wonderful city of Manchester. It was a privilege to present to an audience of talent acquisition and HR professionals whilst raising awareness of our brand. It was a really fun day!”
