On Sunday 9th September 2018, Linsey Gleave, wife of Director Tim Gleave, participated in the Great North Run 2018 for Cash For Kids.
Building on Talent Insight Group’s work with Cash For Kids, Linsey was delighted to support this worthy cause and raised £530 in the process.
How her fundraising helps
Cash For Kids supports thousands of children across the North East of England who suffer abuse or neglect, are disabled and have special needs or who simply need extra care or guidance.
Linsey said, “The team at Talent Insight Group have supported Cash For Kids throughout the last year and often speak about the wonderful work that the charity does. I wanted to help too, so was more than happy to run for them this year.”
Tim Gleave, Joint Managing Director of Talent Insight Group, said, “I’m incredibly proud of Linsey. She has trained hard for the event and finished in an amazing 2 hours and 20 minutes. It was really kind of her to support Cash For Kids, and we’re all thrilled about the money that she has raised to help disadvantaged children across our region.”
About the Great North Run
Linsey was one of more than 57,000 runners taking part in The Great North Run, which is the biggest half marathon in the world. The 13.1 mile course runs from Newcastle to South Shields.
