Now that Autumn has taken hold, we’re reflecting on a summer of changes at TIG. As much as the world outside has been uncertain, we’re delighted to see the value of the intelligence we provide continues to be recognised.

As well as winning repeat business from our existing clients, we’ve celebrated a number of new client wins across a range of territories and sectors, from heavy engineering and logistics to financial services, technology and digital services.

Finding and attracting great talent will always be central to growth, and this starts with a deep knowledge of the market and broader trends. It’s something we take seriously, so much so we implement the best practices here to enable us to grow alongside our clients.

One of the crucial elements is the path for internal progression. So, we are delighted to announce four well-earned promotions over the summer. Congratulations are in order for Hamish Denham and Ben Kearvell, who both progressed to Senior Research Manager; Emma Forbes, who stepped up to Research Manager; and Joshua Aubrey, now our Senior Marketing Insight Executive.

We were also delighted to expand our marketing team by welcoming Head of Marketing Samantha Collier on board. Sam brings a wealth of experience gained through 15 years in marketing roles in various sectors, from SMEs to global brands. She's already making an impact, and we can't wait to see what she can achieve at TIG.

Work-life balance also remains critical, so alongside our wellness programme, we are now working towards implementing a 4-day week.  The research behind this shows there are benefits both in terms of well-being and productivity. We began by implementing a trial of a 4-and-a-half-day week over the summer with positive results, and we’ll continue to keep you updated on our progress.

If the 4-day week is something you’re considering implementing, we’re happy to share our experience and thinking behind embracing this move. Start the conversation by emailing hello@talentinsightgroup.co.uk
