Our partnership with Cash for Kids

We've chosen Cash For Kids as the charity we'll be supporting in 2017-2018.

Cash For Kids is a network of local charities supporting disadvantaged young people who are suffering from abuse or neglect, who are disabled and have special needs or who simply need extra care or guidance.

Why we give back

We've been inspired by Chairman Glen Hall, who is donating all the profits from his best-selling novel The Last Druid to the charity. We have a strong desire to do something similar and will be donating a percentage of our annual profits to the charity whilst also actively participating in its work across the year.

Glen said, “Cash For Kids do brilliant work for underprivileged children across the country. I grew up on the Holme Wood estate in Bradford in the 1970s and I have seen first-hand the detrimental effects of poverty and deprivation on children’s childhood. It’s not just raising money and giving it to anyone. It is about giving something back to kids that have come from a similar background.”

The impact

Stephanie Simpson, Regional Manager of Cash for Kids, said, “We are delighted to be chosen as the charity of this new exciting business and can’t wait to get their team more involved in our work.

Chairman Glen Hall has already been extremely supportive and the enthusiasm of him and the other company Directors to give something back to underprivileged children is truly inspirational. They are committed to making a difference and we are looking forward to working closely with them to make that happen.”
